Pair Wii Remote Windows 10
Can't Connect Wii Motion Plus Remote on Windows 10 Creators Update Everything was ok before I upgrade to Creators Update, I could smoothly connect to my wii remote via bluetooth. Like the picture I snapped from a youtube video, I just need to click the 'next' button on a prompt window without typing any code. The perfect solution for your HTPC. Point the Wiimote at the screen, press down your thumb, and tap, swipe or scroll through Windows 8 new Metro interface. Install once and don't think about it again. Touchmote can start with Windows and connect as soon as you press any button on your Wiimote. I'm trying to connect my Wii remote to my computer with Windows 10 and Bluetooth 4.0. When I try and pair the Wiimote, it asks for a PIN. Anyone know how to get around this or what the PIN is? Also, what is some good software I can get to configure the Wii controls into things the computer recognizes? Thank you very much for the help.
I have a problem connecting the Wii Remote to my PC. When I click on 'add a new device' on the bluetooth menu, I cannot have the option to connect the Wii Remote without a PIN code. As you can see on the image below (sorry the language is set to french) the connect button won't highlight if I put nothing inside the text box.
Most people don't know that the Wiimote communicates with the Wii via a Bluetooth wireless link. The Bluetooth controller is a Broadcom 2042 chip, which is designed to be used with devices which follow the Bluetooth Human Interface Device (HID) standard, such as keyboards and mice. The Bluetooth HID is directly based upon the USB HID standard, and much of the same documentation applies.

The Wiimote is capable of transmitting huge amounts of data to the Wii (Nintendo just isn't utilizing it's capabilities thus far). By using the internal Bluetooth wireless link, you can connect your Wiimote to your PC (any OS), and use it with a wide range of applications already made for the Wiimote.
So check out the next step and I will show you what you need to do.
